NS6116 Description:
The NS6116 is A synchronous step-down power management chip that supports high voltage input to achieve up to 3.1A continuous current output over a wide range of input voltages. By adjusting the partial voltage resistance of the FB port, a stable voltage of 1.8V to 28V can be output. The NS6116 has excellent load adjustment and line voltage adjustment, no more than ±5% across the range. The NS6116 uses the current mode loop control principle to achieve fast dynamic response. The NS6116 operates at a switching frequency of 130kHz and has good EMI characteristics.
The NS6116 has built-in line voltage compensation, which can be achieved by adjusting the partial voltage resistor resistance value of the FB port. The NS6116 can not only realize the single-chip step-down power management scheme, but also form a fast charging power management scheme with the QC2.0/ QC3.0 identification chip. In addition, the chip contains multiple protection functions: overtemperature protection, output short-circuit protection and input undervoltage protection.
The NS6116 comes in a standard SOP8 package.
