9017R.
The 9017R. is a complete system integrated circuit that manages the charging function of lithium batteries, providing fast charging and maximizing battery life.
9017R. Monitor the condition of the battery, if the battery voltage is lower than 2.9V, decide whether it needs to be pre-charged. The precharge current can be set in any range from 7.5mA to 120mA via an external resistor. The pre-charged state keeps the battery in good condition and extends battery life. Once the battery voltage reaches 2.9V, the 9017R.will automatically convert to a constant current (CC) charge cycle. The internal current is set to more than 6 times the current at pre-charge. The constant current cycle function will minimize the time required to charge when the battery is close to full saturation, about 4.15V, 9017R. Will automatically convert to a constant voltage (CV) charge cycle. During the constant voltage charging cycle, the charging current will be reduced to gradually saturate the battery without the risk of supersaturation, which is necessary because lithium batteries cannot supersaturate 50mV, otherwise there is a risk of explosion.
