TC618BS Description
The TC618BS provides an integrated brush-DC motor drive solution for battery-powered toys, low-voltage or battery-powered motion control applications.
The TC618BS circuit integrates the H-bridge drive circuit designed with N-channel and P-channel power MOSFETs, and the TC618BS is suitable for driving a brushed DC motor or a winding of the stepper motor.
The TC618BS circuit has a wide operating voltage range (from 2V to 9.6V), with a maximum continuous output current of 2.6A and a maximum peak output current of 3.5A.
The TC618BS drive circuit has a built-in overheating protection circuit. When the load current through the drive circuit is much greater than the maximum continuous current of the circuit, limited by the package heat dissipation capacity, the junction temperature of the chip inside the circuit will rise rapidly, once it exceeds the set value (typical value 150 ° C), the internal circuit will immediately turn off the output power tube, cut off the load current, to avoid the continuous rise in temperature caused by plastic packaging smoke, fire and other safety hazards. The built-in temperature hysteresis circuit ensures that the circuit is restored to the safe temperature before allowing the circuit to be controlled again.
TC618BS provides ESOP-8,SOP-8,DIP-8 three package forms
